Paint Party 101
A paint party is an incredible experience, paint parties as so much fun. They really bring everyone together by creating something awesome with a mix of fun! You can attend public paint parties or host your own private paint party. You can invite friends and family to celebrate a special occasion. The key to having a successful paint party is to just have fun. Most of the time, hardly anyone knows how to paint. The great thing about these events is that an artist is there to guide everyone which makes things very simple for everyone.
Materials used during a paint party
During the event, artists teach you step-by-step and different brush techniques to accomplish the featured painting. As the artist is instructing, they are also painting along so people have a visual with a verbal explanation. Materials that are traditionally used for paint parties are canvas and acrylic paints. Acrylic paints are water-based paints that have a plastic finish once it has dried. It works very well with water to give a watercolor look.
Other materials used for paint parties are ceramics, wood panels, wineglass, and beer mugs. Glass surfaces use Enamel paints for durability and makes the paint dishwasher safe. Another great option for paint parties is black light painting! What makes this special and different is the black light effect. Black light must be turned on within the studio and neon paints are provided. When the black light hits the neon paint, it will shine as if it glowed in the dark. This brings a whole other dimension to painting!

A paint party can be hosted at our art studios or can be off-site. The great thing about hosting an off-site event is that the studio brings all the material to you! You can be in the comfort of your own home and having an awesome paint party. We bring table and flooring protectors just in case paint decides to fly elsewhere besides the canvas.
